Every year the number of individuals requiring day programming at Harbor House grows as more residents graduate from special education services.  As the number of persons requiring day programs at home increases, the need for space and equipment for daily activities and therapies becomes ever more crucial.  Currently, Harbor House Ministries provides day programming for 17 adults.  That number is expected to increase steadily over the next eight years.

A quality day program for adults with severe physical and mental impairments includes activities and therapies designed to increase or maintain mobility, communication, and independence.  These therapies require equipment and space.

The Harbor House Ministries board has voted to pursue plans for an activity center on the current campus.  This building will provide the space and equipment needed to best help each individual reach his or her potential.

We hope to remain debt-free in order to focus any ongoing funds solely for care.  We are working to raise all the funds needed for construction.

Harbor House Ministries asks you stand with us as we work to enhance the lives of adults with severe mental and physical impairments.  If you would like to help with this ministry,, please see ways you can help.

We are also asking you to help us name the new center.   Please send us your suggestions for a name for the new building.  Write your suggestion and submit it here.
